Getting Ready for LoboMail - Training

LoboMail is built on Microsoft Outlook, the most commonly-used email client in the world.  If you have used Outlook in the past, you should be up and running in LoboMail in no time.  If it has been a while since you used Outlook, or you never have, here are some resources to help you get started.

Walk-in help:  Two walk-in help centers will be offering hands-on help with LoboMail.  The centers will be open on December 3rd and 4th, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and are located at:

  • The LoboLab at the SUB (Student Union Building), lower level, Room 1012 (map)
  • Zimmerman Library, room 245 (map)

Hands-on classes:  Classes are posted - sign up now before they fill up!  To sign up, go to Learning Central and enter LoboMail in the Search Catalog box on the right.  When you get the search results, click View course dates under LoboMail 101a to see a full course schedule and availability.  Classes are two hours long and are being held at the UNM Business Center (1700 Lomas Blvd NE), EOD Room 1019.

Online training:  Teach yourself LoboMail with the following course materials.  These are the same materials used in the instructor-led classes.
