Please be sure that you have confirmed that all your messages, folders, contacts, mail filters, and Inbox rules have been copied over or re-created in LoboMail. See this list for instructions.

Welcome to LoboMail!

LoboMail is a feature-rich email and calendaring system based on Microsoft Exchange that is replacing Webmail and UNM GroupWise. Existing email and folders will be copied over to the new system, and users will be notified when their new account has been activated. NOTE: All notifications will be sent to your netid@unm.edu address - please check that address regularly for instructions and updates.

Timing: At this point most Webmail accounts have been transitioned to LoboMail. The only exceptions are accounts belonging to UNM GroupWise (non-salud) users, department/guest accounts, and existing Exchange users (Anderson, Gallup, and STC). UNM GroupWise users will be migrated in early December, and department/guest and Exchange accounts will follow in January.

Frequently Asked Questions

I currently have my email forwarded to my Gmail account. Will that be brought over to the new system?: No, we cannot preserve forwarding information. When your account is migrated to the new system it will no longer be forwarded and you will have to reset any automated filtering or forwarding rules.
I am a retiree - will I be included in the new system? When will I be migrated?: Retirees will be migrated along with faculty and staff during the Fall semester.
Will the folders that I use for filing emails be kept intact?: Yes. All folders that are part of your mailbox will be copied into the new system. Local folders and archives cannot be copied and will remain the responsibility of the user.
Will there be training on the new system?: Yes. We have collected an extensive list of FAQs, FastInfos, training videos, and web resources to help make the transition to LoboMail easier.
